How the Personal Home Search and Market Tracker tools work

Both these tools search the MLS listings database daily. MLS stands for Multiple Listing Service and this is the database into which all realtors enter their properties. When new listings are found that match your search criteria, an email is sent out to you with a list of the properties, some brief information, and a link to the listing.

What will the email i receive look like?

How many listings will i receive? What should i do if there are too many or too few?

The number of listings you receive will depend on how much information you give on the search form. If you ask for all price ranges in all areas, be warned, you may receive several hundred properties in your email! Don't worry, at the top of the email and the property listing page there is an "Edit this search" link. You can use that to narrow down your search and get a manageable list or make your search broader to receive more listings. As always, you can email us and request a change.
