Aptos

From the beautiful beach to the sunny hills, the small town atmosphere of Aptos is practically perfect. Aptos is generally defined as north of highway 1, while Rio Del Mar is to the south with its million dollar beach homes and sprawling golf course.

Originally and Indian village, Aptos was established in 1833. With the opening of Cabrillo College in the 1960's Aptos began a period of rapid development. Today the population has reached almost 10,000 people.
