SantaCruzRealty.Net... Building an information reference site for real estate across the Monterey Bay Counties.

With dotcommers capitulating under the pressure to produce profits and VC's shutting off funding for ill conceived business plans, why introduce a new website I asked myself. Well I had a need that was best served by designing a website that was a true information source in my current line of business. As a computer and high tech user since the 80's I knew a well designed simple website to be by far the best way to solve my problem. In my professional field of real estate people are always asking for advice and information that is not always at my fingertips. If I could find enough content providers willing to produce meaningful real estate articles pertinent to Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties, and find an expert to build the site, I could solve the need without it becoming a new writing career for me personally.

I consider myself fortunate to be connected to such people who could help me accomplish the goal of producing this website. Brigitte Eaton was a huge help in designing and implementing the site. Without her web design expertise and patience this would not have become reality. The content providers have been very gracious in supplying the original articles in time for this introduction. They will also produce new articles in their particular fields of expertise each month. I expect to have a considerable body of information on this site before the end of this year. At the end of each article you will find the content providers website addresses to enable you to seek more information directly.

We are still looking for more content providers, as well as writers to provide "lifestyle" articles pertinent to Monterey and Santa Cruz living. Please contact the editor if interested in becoming a contributor. If you are an advertiser we will consider requests, although it is not the major intent of this site to produce revenues. I sincerely hope you enjoy this site and please return frequently as more articles are added.
